My friend, Stephanie, and I are trying to paint on a monthly basis. Last month I painted a musical montage for my piano room. This month I painted owls. Each owl represents a person in my family, and they are proudly displayed in the media room.
It took me an entire hour just to pick the colors, then another four hours to finish. Luckily, Stephanie has a giant blow-up waterslide that occupied the kids for most of our painting session. Maybe we shouldn’t try to finish in one day. Kids and paint and a light-colored carpet. What are we thinking?
