Gordon’s birthday
Since his birthday was on a Sunday this year, I took the cupcakes to class on Friday.
Gordon and his best friend Luke. He’s on the phone with him right now. They are such good buddies. Once Gordon came home crying, and when I asked him what was wrong, he said Luke got into a fight with another boy in the bathroom. Gordon was worried Luke would be suspended. Then he was worried that Luke would grow up to be a tough boy and they couldn’t be friends anymore. Everything has been straightened out now.
Gordon got $20 from grandma & grandpa Muhlestein, Bakagun from grandma & grandpa Walker, Battle Forge (video game), bubble gum maker, and a sprinkler.
Those tough boys can be really big meanies. I know I wouldn’t be friends with one. I love Gordon’s genuine surprise in every picture.
I really need to record one of their phone conversations, they are so funny, “Hello. Hi. Is Gordon there?” (pause to pass the phone) “Wassssszzzzzupppp, bleeeeahhhhhh.” That’s how they start.
