Kids say the darnedest things in the car

Today in the car coming home from preschool, Ethan and I were talking about his octopus he made. I was explaining that “oct” means eight. I said an octopus has eight legs and an octogon has eight sides. He said, “And an octosicle is eight popsicles stuck together.”

Driving home from Acrofitness, Gordon and Ethan were talking about the stamps they got on their hands.
Ethan–”they have stamps now because the stickers fall off.”
Gordon–”and the stamps don’t.”
Ethan–”the only way you can get them off is washing.”
Gordon–”or you can blow your hand to bits.”

I laughed until I cried at that one.
