Mother’s Day

Sunday, June 10th, 2007

For Mother’s Day, Rob gave me these herbs. Cooking with fresh herbs is so much better, especially when I don’t have to do the cooking. I got to take a nap, and then Rob and my dad cooked dinner for me and my mom…Rob’s yummy chicken. It was a nice restful day.

May Birthdays

We had two birthdays in May…Ethan’s and Gordon’s

Ethan turned 4 years old. He wanted a gold (his favorite color) cake with cars from the movie “Cars” on it. He got some games a LightBright and of course lots of cars.

Here is Ethan’s creation with his LightBright…pretty flowers.

Gordon turned 7 years old. He wanted to go to the new Red Robin restaurant that just opened. He got Wheelies, Yu-gi-oh cards, a game, a wallet, and spin art.

Tree Huggers

My sister convinced me to pick up painting. What to paint? What to paint? My kids sounded like a good start, so I painted this one of the boys in a tree. It’s called Tree Huggers. I’m going to frame it and put it in the playroom–someday.

I’m the man

Friday, June 8th, 2007

I finally just figured out that for the last two years, I (Alicia) have been publishing posts as Rob. So, just to let everyone know, that everything from January 2005 until now has been written by me, not Rob—I’m the man. I didn’t want people getting the wrong impression of Rob with some of the more feminine things I have said. Enjoy your stay with us! See, my name is at the bottom now, yay!
